ProMo-Cymru operates according to Co-operative principles and believes that improving society is part of its social responsibility.

ProMo-Cymru has entered deprived communities with the aim of rejuvenating the region by encouraging economic, social and environmental improvements and dealing with issues that create barriers. This helps encourage business and development back into the area and re-establishes a sense pride in a community.

ProMo-Cymru has demonstrated a clear commitment to regeneration, working with local Councils, Government regeneration initiatives, private organisations and communities to ensure the most suitable and sustainable approach is used when trying to deliver effective regeneration to an area.

Examples of Community Regeneration include:

Ebbw Vale Institute – ProMo-Cymru regenerated the Grade II listed building with the help of the local community and Blaenau Gwent Council.
