CLIC Educational Development

CLIC Conference
CLIC offers important information for young people and ProMo-Cymru is currently developing educational materials for schools and further educational institutions.

Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE)

CLIC has developed 10 lesson plans and supporting materials for PSHE lessons provided which are currently part of the school curriculum in England and Wales. These lessons cover subjects such as drugs, health, personal growth and relationships. Download the lesson plans here.

Welsh Baccalaureate

ProMo-Cymru is working in partnership with Barry College of Further Education to pilot CLIC’s inclusion in the Welsh Baccalaureate curriculum.  The lesson plans and materials developed will then go on to be promoted to Secondary Schools and Further Education Colleges with the help of the Welsh Joint Education Committee (WJEC) and Welsh Baccalaureate Coordinators.

CLIC Accreditation

ProMo-Cymru is developing a training programme which will lead to a CLIC Editorial Accreditation.

ProMo-Cymru has established links with the Youth University to identify existing sources of training to help with the creation of a bespoke Editorial Group accreditation package and achievement system for young people who have both long and short-term engagement with the project.  A number of best practice resources have also been collated in relation to young volunteer projects including Flintshire, Bridgend and Blaenau Gwent.
