Ebbw Vale Institute
We are in a process of compiling an EVI blog, so watch this space:
http://ebbwvaleinstitute.blogspot.com/. We will update you on recent developments.
Sprout development
We still continue to develop the website. Recently we have hosted Editorial Group meeting with interested young people at Fitzalan High. Also, we are still running The Sprout website workshops that have been developed to raise awareness of the website and to get young people involved in the Sprout, via secondary schools and youth clubs in the Cardiff area.
During the workshops young people have a go at becoming reporters, they write a story and take photos which they upload straight onto the website themselves.
Any youth club or secondary school wanting to host a Sprout workshop, please contact:

Youth Works 4 You
Over the past few months ProMo-Cymru and CWYVS have been developing a pack of materials and workshops designed to encourage young people into considering youth work as a life changing, well-paid career choice with training at every level.
The materials were developed through consultations with young people and youth professionals, then piloted with youth groups and organisations, gaining their feedback and assessing their effectiveness. The success of this great partnership project has now been reported back to the Welsh Assembly Government with our recommendations for the future

Collect and Trade Digital Artwork
Imagine a website where you can load up digital art works, animated artworks, or AV Art clips - and sell them online; where your digital art work never leaves the site, is never downloaded - it is streamed and collectors trade your work and each time one of the many limited editions you have loaded onto the site sells, you earn - over and over and over again - forever!
Imagine a website that democratises Art making it accessible to a vast new audience of online collectors all over the world - an online place where there is a constant buzz as exciting new artists are discovered.
Imagine a website where the starting price for every piece is one pound [£1.00] GBP - if you load up 10 pieces of your own original digital media - each of which has 100 limited editions available for sale that means you have launched 1,000 pieces into the system - 1,000 transaction stories - some will trade slowly and some will change hands quickly - the price of your work will go up in value - one can even imagine 1 piece selling for a very large amount of money at some point - which will mean the value of the other 999 pieces you have loaded exclusively into the site are now very valuable too - and every time each of these 1,000 pieces sells you earn - every time... in perpetuity
We imagined this...www.inyouri.com now beta testing - please feel free to join in!
