Make It Happen

ProMo-Cymru received funding from Cardiff 2005 to provide small grants of £250 available to young people and youth-led groups. These Make it Happen grants supported almost twenty different events and projects across Cardiff and South Wales.

The projects and events were extremely diverse ranging from the creation music video’s (Miss Muffet and Kristy Brain mentioned in last Dotmail issue) to the production of information leaflets for young people, a community day celebrating the history of an area in Cardiff, an open air charity music festival, a one-woman stand up comedy show, a football tournament and health project with young people to name but a few.

Feedback received about the projects was very positive and pleased with the support that we could offer, we would like to secure additional funds from offer sources to provide a similar small grants scheme.
