Mini Conferences

In partnership with arts organisations Arts Cymru, South Wales Intercultural Community Arts (SWICA), ProMo-Cymru has joined Arts Training Wales to look at setting up aprenticeships, fellowships, work placement experiences and/or other schemes for people who are currently under-represented in the arts workforce and organising a series of free ‘Mini Conferences’ to replace the annual ACW/ATW Professional Development Conference. Here are the dates:
Wednesday, 15 February: Queens Hall, Narberth – Steve Fletcher, SWICA

Friday, 17 February: CARAD Arts Centre, Rhayader – Maggie Hampton, DAC
‘Emphasis on better inclusion of disabled and deaf people in the workforce’
Thursday 23 March: Ty Newydd, Criccieth – Sally Baker, Board Member of Arts Training Wales
‘Emphass on better inclusion of Welsh speakers in the workforce’
Friday, 7 April The Gate, Cardiff – Marco Gil Cervantes, ProMo-Cymru
