Golden Pixil Awards

The event took place on 15th of December in the Point. The Golden Pixil Awards 2005 awards had set out to acknowledge both new entrant and industry new media achievement - alllowing us to create an intescetion where the two can meet.

Entrants into these awards where gathered from reccomendations, nominations, our talent spotting, and people who fancied their chances. Melanie Hawthorne representing Cardiff 2005 Cardiff County Council Ninjah and hosted the show; Kirsty from Ely and Mulato from Grangetown entertained the audience by performed some of their songs.

Best use of new media in educational projects(Community) Valleys and Vale Community Arts – “Missing Mauro”

Best still image created using new media (Community) Butetown History & Arts Centre – “Saeed Ali Abyan”
