MEIC is hiring!

MEIC, the national advocacy, information and advice helpline for children and young people in Wales, now has a vacancy for a Helpline Adviser Advocate.

Job Title:    MEIC Helpline Adviser Advocate
Hours of work:   Full Time 35 hours per week
Length of Contract:   In the first instance, to the end of project – August 2013
Salary starting at:   £22,221 per annum

The successful candidate will have experience of working with children and young people. Experience of working within a support, advice and/or information setting would be an advantage. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to assess the needs of service users and respond in a calm, non-judgemental way. Experience of representing the views and wishes of an individual and competent ICT skills are essential.

The closing date is 12 noon, Tuesday 31st July 2012.
