ProMo-Cymru has seen considerable innovation and growth in the last 30 years.
We appreciate the importance of qualifications and experience but we at ProMo are also looking for right individuals who can bring something new and different to our organisation. There are several projects which offers staff the opportunity to development careers and experience different aspects of the organisation.
ProMo-Cymru also works with volunteers and regularly takes on work experience students who are keen to learn more about online publishing, designing, filming, video-editing and photography.
MEIC Helpline Opportunities
MEIC is the national advocacy and advice helpline service for children and young people up to the age of 25 in Wales. It operates a 24hrs a day, 7 days a week bilingual service and can be contacted by phone, SMS text and instant messaging. MEIC is confidential, anonymous and free.
MEIC is managed strategically by the Cywaith consortium whose members are Children in Wales, NYAS, Tros Gynnal Plant, ProMo-Cymru and Voices from Care. ProMo-Cymru is the lead agency on behalf of the consortium with responsibility for employing the staff.
These are exciting times for the service and we are looking to recruit a number of adviser- advocates to meet the growing demand. We currently have full time, part time and sessional vacancies.
If you are passionate about supporting the children and young people of Wales with a range of issues we would like to hear from you.
