WICID

WICID is the local website for young people in Rhondda Cynon Taf offering news, information, videos and events submitted by young people in the area.

This new website is supported by the Welsh Assembly Government and linked to the National Information and Advice Channel for young people in Wales, CLIC.

WICID provides young people with information on a wide range of topics, services, issues and where to get support.  There is an online directory of all the organisations who offer activities and services to young people. 

A group of young people aged between 11-25 are responsible for writing, reporting, photographing, designing, promoting. This group meet monthly and are responsible for making decisions on the content and technical changes.

However, anyone can write for WICID and anyone can submit photographs, all they have to do is register, which will take 2 minutes.
