We are currently working with Arad Consulting and associated Academics to develop a resource toolkit to enable youth professionals to asses young peoples progress and "distance travelled", with indicators on personal and emotional development.  This resource will measure the effectiveness of youth work intervention and will be developed incorporating best practice methods identified with practitioners and young people in Wales.  This flagship project will be developed over the next three years for the National Assembly for Wales. 

ProMo-Cymru were previously involved in pilot consultations with young people regarding the initial materials produced for the National Assembly's Demonstrating Success project.  Working with four targeted groups of young people chosen to reflect varying levels of competencies we carried out an intensive analysis of the materials.  This included their views on content, the suitability of the questions, language used, design and how the questionnaire materials could be adapted to engage young people from different age groups with a range of abilities with alternative formats suggested and explored.
