Thanks Sam Careers Pack

Funded by the Welsh Assembly Government and working in partnership with the Council for Wales Voluntary Youth Service, ProMo-Cymru assisted in research, production and piloting of a training resource to inform young people of youth work as a viable career choice.  These materials included a training resource handbook for youth professionals, developing three levels of participative workshops and an information leaflet for young people to signpost them to relevant sources of further information specific to their age, circumstance and need.  The materials were produced bilingually and piloted with a variety of youth/school groups within Wales, receiving positive feedback.  This has now been taken on by the Welsh Assembly Government as part of the "THANKS SAM" initiative and will be delivered to young people across Wales.
